Here I am playing catch up! I found a yummy premade pizza crust that's made with honey instead of sugar! Also, I've decided there's no real way to stay away from the sweet stuff. Evaporated cane juice is in my almond milk. And I like honey. Maybe I'll just flirt with veganism. ::shrug:: I am making a conscious effort to stay away from white/refined sugar, but that's the best I can do.. I love food and I DON'T love being restricted. Maybe one day I won't feel that way. We'll see. Anyway, back to my pizza! I put the crust in the oven to crisp up while I sautéed mushrooms. I added a little balsamic to kind of glaze them over. Reduced balsamic is FANTASTIC! (Note to self: I need some vegan butter. Reduce the butter with the balsamic vinegar and you get this yummy brown butter that's just out of this world.) Anyway, I don't have a picture of the finished pizza because I ATE IT! :) A side salad with a yummy lemon dressing (lemon juice, olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic.) Light and refreshing!






And for the daily picture... We tried to capture the "rockstar jump" Jilly (yes, we're on a nickname basis.. It happens when she's been kicking my butt for 3 weeks) makes us do. You're basically jumping up and kicking YOURSELF in the ass for 30 seconds at a time. How's that for a Jillian Michaels workout.. Thanks a lot. For some reason though, the picture just wasn't working out. Maybe we were exhausted and delirious. The Shred workout can do that to a girl! Cassie was uber kind in pointing out my amazing looking calves. Not too shabby if I do say so myself!
