Resurrection of the Blog...

That's right, folks. I'm back! It's a brand new season (where's the cooler weather?) and I have a brand new plan. "The Plan" :) Okay, it's like this...I need to lose weight and get healthy. I need to exercise and stay motivated. I also need to do all of this in a healthy and responsible manner. Insert: the plan! Starting October 1, 2009 I'm changing my lifestyle. Counting calories and exercising. Taking care of myself first. My plan is to lose one pound a week. That's 4 lbs a month. Small goal but big rewards. For the next year. My goal is to lose 50 lbs by October 2010. I have rewards for reaching goals set up. An exercise plan so I don't get bored and a partner. My friend, Cassie, is starting with me. We're going to be each other's motivators and we are sooo excited!

Another project I'm starting is the 365 picture project. I've been reading about it online and it sounds like something that would be fun and challenging. It'll also be a way for me to journal my progress, feelings, etc. I have to take one picture every day. For 365 days. One year of posting pictures of me. Well, I at least have to be in the picture, which is hard, because I'm always the photographer and never in the picture. Anyway, I'm nervous but super excited to try this out.

So there it is. I've put it out in the universe. EEK! I'm nervous. I know this is gonna work. Stay tuned...
