Another Lazy Weekend...

What a nice weekend we ended up having. Didn't really do too much. No housework or yard work got done, but that's okay.

Saturday was my day to sleep in...ahhh bliss. We lounged around for a bit and then decided to go down to Jax to just bum around. We ended up in our new favorite store, World Market. We love drinking free coffee and perusing the food aisles, making up recipes and meals in our heads. One day when we have extra money...(like that will ever happen!) Next door to WM is a Linens-n-Things which just so happened to be closing. Everything was 30-40% including Rachel Ray cookware...Yippee! I bought a really nice oval grill pan to go with my set. Also got a few kitchen gadgets and new duvet for the bed for...$23! Score! After the good hour and a half we spent in there, we made our way to our second favorite (family) store, Barnes & Noble. Seriously, we spend copious amounts of time in this bookstore. Books, magazines, a train set for Tyler to play with and Starbucks. What's better than that? Oh I know! Target.. :) $1.61 buys you a large popcorn and drink and a two year old who is more than happy to sit in the cart, happily munching away while mom and dad shop. I'm not even sure we bought anything...It was just a nice day to hang out with the family.

Today was Gabe's day to sleep in (I woke him up at 10). Lucky for me, Tyler slept until 8:40 (hee hee hee don't tell Gabe!) I love getting up, making coffee and enjoying a quiet hour either on the computer or watching the news while the house sleeps. It's nice. Anyway, I scrapped all morning while Gabe and Tyler watched tv and colored. I'm very excited to say my first scrapbook, Tyler's First Year is FINALLY DONE! I know, I can hardly believe it either. I'm pretty proud and it's pretty ridiculously huge. But, I love it! I'm eager to start on another one. After naps, Tyler and I hung out while Gabe did some school work (which he loves to leave until the last minute). I made a super delicous dinner consisting of pan-fried mahi mahi with a browned balsamic butter. That's right...I'm awesome. :o)

I don't think we have a lot planned this week. I definitely have to visit Cassie...and the new baby! Alanna was born on the 4th and she's just absolutely beautiful. Hopefully we can keep up our workout schedule or figure something out! I'll keep you updated...
