Tyler's Update

We had a 2 year well-baby check-up today...He's growing like a weed! 25 lbs 8 oz and...35 inches tall! He's grown almost 3 inches in just the last 6 months. I have to get him new shoes this fall: a size 8!! Maybe he'll be a swimmer (I'm inspired by the Olympics right around the corner!) :o) The doctor (who looked mighty young to me...when did that happen?!?) asked if he had any problems running, jumping or climbing...HA! Not unless you count TOO much of it! Does he have more than 20 words, which she answered herself, "I think I've heard more than 20, along with sentences, in the 10 minutes that you've been here!" So yeah...He's all good. I'd say a little above average, but that's just me. ;o)

The trip to North Jax Motorsports got canceled yesterday due to our daily afternoon thunderstorm (which we probably could have skipped, had we not all slept until 4 pm!) Anyway, we decided to leave early this afternoon and get down there to get the bike. Gabe was starting to go through withdrawal. Would you know it rained the WHOLE DANG TIME! We even tried to wait it out in Walmart, which just caused us to spend money...We finally decided that Gabe would just get some rain gear and suck it up, which he did. He just spent the last 30 minutes in the garage drying off his bike (and probably making out with it...) hardee har har. I call her the mistress.
