Tyler's Birthday

This is for the family who's asked what to get Tyler for his birthday...Just some ideas we've had while roaming the aisles of the toy section. :o) So far, we've bought him a Spiderman little book bag, the movie Chicken Little, and a Star Wars Millennium Falcon toy. They're called Star Wars Galactic Super Heroes, made for the littler kids. They're pretty darn cute with big heads and hands, very animated. I hope I described that right! There are little people you can buy to go along with the ship. We got Darth Vader, R2D2, C3PO, Princess Leia, Hans Solo and Chewy so far. If you have no clue what I'm talking about, don't worry about it! ;o) Here's a picture of what we bought:

Pretty freaking cute right?! Our poor kid had no chance with a daddy like Gabe. :o) Anyway, if you want to get him something different, here's a list:

-He's just getting into Thomas the Train...He doesn't have a track or anything
-the movie Cars or any of the toy vehicles from the movie
-anything Spiderman or Hulk
-they have Mega Blocks at Wally World. They're like very big legos...
-he loves to finger paint, color, etc...art supplies are always a big hit! maybe even some play dough? we haven't ventured into that yet...
-As far as clothes, he's in a 2T or 24 months for shirts. Only 18 months for shorts. His waist is really tiny, but he's long. Maybe if 2T has an adjustable waist...Of course, he'll grow into anything! Shoes are a size 7/8 (he's got HUGE feet!) I'd go ahead and get size 8 just to be on the safe side.

I hope this helps! If you have any questions, just let me know...We're gonna probably come to NC in August so if you want to have a little birthday party for him then, that's fine. You don't spend a lot of money mailing stuff...

here's a non-toxic, edible, and easy to clean up playdough recipe.
1 cup flour
1 cup water
1/2 cup salt, yes that much
1 TB cream of tartar
1 TB oil, any kind
food coloring
mix all ingr. together well, only one color per batch. pour into hot skillet, cook until stiff. carefully knead on counter. keep wrapped or in container. lasts a long time. tyler may find it too salty to eat. i love you amber. gama jody
