I know you're wondering why I'm doing a weekend update on a Thursday morning...It's because our weekend started last night! Gabe has today and tomorrow off. He has to go in Saturday and Sunday mornings for a bit (he's on duty) so that's why we aren't going anywhere this especially long weekend. We don't have anything extravagant planned. There's a parade and festival tomorrow morning downtown, which we'll go to for a little while (depending on how hot it is). We also decided to let Tyler stay up and go down to the river for fireworks tomorrow night. I'm so excited!! It'll be his first fireworks show. :o) I hope he likes it! I'm going to be taking lots of pictures tomorrow so stay tuned!
I'm being nice and letting Gabe sleep in this morning. We stayed up watching episodes of Battlestar Galactica (yes, we're dorks!) We finished season 2: disc 1. Lots more to go, but we really like it. He'll have to get up in a little bit though because I'm not taking Tyler to Cassie's this morning for my workout. He'll be here spending quality time with daddy. We may go bowling this afternoon... Or maybe the pool. So many choices!
I'm hoping to light a fire under Gabe's booty and get the little details finished in our kitchen. We're so close to being done and I'm dying to post before/after pictures! I know most of you have seen it already..I just want it DONE! (So we can move on to the dining room floor!)
So, that's the update. Tyler is running around like a crazy fool demanding food, as always. I'll post sizes/details for the grandmas who always want to buy clothes. ;o) Other than that, I have NO IDEA what to get him for his birthday...Which is in TWO weeks. EEK!
