Ah-HA!

You thought I was gone for good now, didn't you? No more daily thankfulness so the end? I thought so too for a moment. But, after eating the last of the turkey day leftovers tonight (thank god!) Cameron said something at dinner and I laughed out loud and thought, "I should post about this." It wasn't even that funny. And it was a rerun joke because he actually said it during our beautiful Thanksgiving feast. Everyone is finally chowing down, happy as can be, and sweet little (rotten) Cameron says, "Dis chik-en is deeewicious!" We all laughed. It was adorable and from then on, we all called it chicken. We had a great week off and holiday. And it was extremely hard to set that alarm for this morning. Luckily, Gabe is teaching a night class right now so I didn't have to wake Cameron up. He ended up sleeping until 8:15 so not only did Tyler and I not have to rush at all, but I got home to spend some quality quiet time by myself. It was fantastic. AND Cameron gets to go to nap at his normal time, which is so wonderful, I can't even explain it. The only thing I have to get through is bath and bed time, but I'll take it. I have plenty of shows to catch up on so I'm looking forward to putting the kids to bed (maybe a little early!) and vegging out on the couch. Yay!
