Today is Veterans Day. I was overwhelmed by the activity on facebook today. So many likes, sweet comments, and thanks given to my family and the military families that came before us. I've always been involved in a military life. Many grandparents, my dad, my husband, my father-in-law, and brother-in-law have all been a part of the military at some point or another. What started out as a steady job to support a family has turned into so much more. A love for country. A proud husband willing to put his life on the line to keep his family safe and free. It's overwhelming to me. Also overwhelming, the amount of people who just don't understand the life. They don't understand what we go through or why we put up with it. I guess they never will. And that's their right. A right that our military will continue to defend.
