There's my boy! He had such a great first day of school!! He was so excited which made it really easy for me to be excited.. I'm happy to report there were no tears from either Tyler or mama :)


He picked this shirt out because "daddy would like it!" :)


We met some friends at the park after school and the kids had a blast! I made Alicia's Peanut Butter Crispy Treats for everyone. I bought puffed rice cereal instead of brown rice crisps so they weren't crispy. A quick text to my mom and into the oven they went! 15 minutes at 350 and they were nice and crispy (and deliciously chewy!) Tyler LOVES them! He even had one for breakfast this morning with a bowl of cantaloupe.. Hey, it's brown rice cereal and peanut butter.. What's not to love?! :) Anyway, the kids became "the frog catchers" at the park.. Here's a pic of my nasty sweaty kid and the tree frog (right after it jumped on his head!! I have some food posts I need to make.. I think we're doing great! :)
