Day Two (and a wild hair!)

For some unknown crazy reason, Cassie and I decided to really challenge ourselves today (hey, it's day two...why not? haha). We rode our bikes from my house all the way down 40, turned right on Dilworth and all the way around to the waterfront park, then headed up Osbourne through downtown and back up 40. Holy. Crap. It was a little over 11 miles total. It took us about an hour and 40 minutes and we were dying. Did I mention I had to stop and puke? Oh yeah! Don't eat a big lunch before a crazy workout. According to Biggest Loser, it's not a workout until someone pukes. Woohoo go me. Of course I felt 100% better afterward and continued on home! I brought my camera along thinking we'd snap some pics and have some fun...Yeah right! We took a pic of each other after we were back home. You don't get to see all the sweat and puke and panting..Sorry folks! Just trust me to know it was all there. :)

It was a great way to change up the workout and challenge myself. I don't think I'll need another challenge for a few months though! Oh and according to thedailyplate.com I burned about 1200 calories. WOW! That made me feel great! I'm trying to figure out a calorie burned goal each week, but I'm not there yet. 3500 calories burned = 1 lb, but I also have to account for all the calories I'm no longer eating. I'll get there.

Did I mention that it's only day two and I am going insane not being able to weigh in? It's driving me nuts! I'll admit I'm an addicted weigher-inner. Teeheehee...

Well, that's it for now...I've had a great week! Even though we "officially" started yesterday, I managed to get a little workout in every day this week. I feel good! (Incredibly sore, but good!) I'm one day this weekend off...But I'll definitely be on to post my pic for the day!
