Finally!

I know...It's been awhile. Let me start out by saying, I'm an aunt!! Mandy had her little boy Monday, February 23rd at 1:31 pm. He was 7 lbs 4 oz and 20 inches long. Welcome to the world, Jayson Cooper Hollis!

I decided to drive up to NC Saturday the 14th because it seemed labor was imminent. Yeah, not so much. Nothing we tried seemed to be working. We walked in the freezing cold, ate Mexican food and walked some more. She finally went into labor Monday morning, more than a week later. Tyler and I had a great time though! We got to hang out with both sets of grandparents plus all his aunts and uncles. Sadly, we had to leave the day after Jayson was born. Gabe was missing his family (And my cooking it seems!)

I'm so grateful for being able to be there for the birth of my nephew. It was truly amazing. Mandy did an awesome job pushing (and pushing and pushing!) that kid out. :) I got some great pictures of the family that I'll post in a bit. I love you guys!
