Fay finally made an appearance yesterday. We got a lot of rain and wind. It was worse last night, but not bad at all. The power went off and came right back on a little before 5 am. We lost some branches in the backyard and a couple of fence slats. Oh and the lid to the sandbox flew off (but not far) so it's filled with water. I'd say we got a good 4-5 inches of rain. I guess we're supposed to get more yucky weather today, along with tornado warnings. That's what I don't like.
So Tyler and I are hanging out, watching cartoons. We're gonna do some finger painting after breakfast. You would think this would be a perfect time to clean the house, but I haven't done a darn thing! It's taken a while to get back into the groove of things after our vacation. Oh well.
Well, I'm gonna go make some breakfast and then break out the paint! :o)
